Semper Sersum: aim high (painting)

Blue lotus, sea kelp, sea lion skull, and koi fish. This painting is all about aiming your sights high and letting go of expectations. Like an archer aiming your intent, people with ambition need to put the work in and then let go of expectations, because it’s often in that moment that the best things can be rewarded. 

This work measures 9”x12” with a 3/4 inch border. It was painted with gouache, sumi ink, and illustrated with micron pens.
