The Lamb, a symbol of innocence and purity. What about when it’s the black sheep of the flock? And holding an arrow? Perhaps innocent isn’t the best word anymore. Then again, innocence only gets you so far, in a world such as this.
Taking back your peace is no easy challenge, especially when you feel so powerless. Sometimes your innocent, un-intimidating appearance can be an asset for surprising those that might want to use you to their ends.
Painted using Holbein acrylic gouache, this 11” x 17” inch painting seeks to inspire and uplift those that feel too small to make a difference, and remind us that sometimes innocence masks untold malice.
