Part of a never-before-seen series, this work of art makes use of American romanticism’s symbols and love for large birds. A black vulture symbolizes the clearing of obstacles, the arrow for war, the torch for truth, the money for corruption, and the black iris for rebellion. He flies with four wings, each a branch of the government, holding him aloft.

A piece of both drama and catharsis, this painting measures 24”x36” inches and is painted with gouache.
