Hi, I’m Everett Lovrien, and I made all of this cool art.

I grew up in the backwoods of a small New England town, and currently live in Seattle, Washington. My work has a lot to do with processing my emotions and environment. See, I was diagnosed with autism when I was 11 or so, and due to my neurotype, I need to deal with things in my own way.

The best method  that I have found is through art, where I can sift through symbols and allegory and apply what feels right to the paper. Lots of the time, this looks like florals and natural elements like bones, because those were the things I was most familiar with back home growing up. My references for symbol come from the Victorian Language of Flowers (Floriography) and medieval / occult symbols. I’ve always been fascinated by myth, symbol, and secrets, so naturally I learned as many as possible to help me communicate! 

My work is for those that feel a little different, a little strange, and a little in need for something that resonates with their unique inner world. Welcome to my website, all belong here.
